Library Knitting Group
Join the library knitting group! Children and adults can learn to knit, improve their skills, share ideas, relax with friends, and meet new people.
Drop in any Thursday and have some fun. Ages 10 to 100 are welcome to join us, whatever their skill level. There is an instructor available to assist, and we have yarn and needles if you need them.
Thursday evenings from 6:00 7:00 p.m. We meet upstairs in the Children's Room.

Some of the group's charitable projects: |
Winter 2012-2013 Our knitteres donated hats and scarves were to the Clothing Closet at the Berean Baptist Church in Harrisville, RI.
|
2009 50 hats knitted for donation to Milford Hospital for their newborn babies, and scarves were knitted as part of the Coats & Clark's project that provided a scarf to every athlete at the 2009 Special Olympics. The scarves were sent to the Games in Idaho to be presented to the athletes. Good job, knitters!
